The work of Whirlwind in Education
We have a wide selection of programmes and activities, ideally suited for KS1 & 2 based on storytelling. We can offer half or full day activities which include techniques used in theatre for storytelling but which also include warm-up games, improvisation, team-work and interpretation. We have found through experience that many of our games and techniques allow children to express themselves much more than if we don't start with them.
Whirlwind is currently expanding its education programme, working with some local (to Lancaster) schools to help develop different aspects of its work. Details and feedback will be available shortly.
