The story starts when four children are sent to live with Professor Kirk to escape the Blitz. Whilst hiding from a strict and rather scary house keeper, Mrs Macready, they stumble across an old wardrobe that is the gateway to Narnia, and the adventure begins.
Whirlwind Youth Theatre have been rehearsing for a while now and have been working incredibly hard as there are many challenging roles for all. The show contains numerous songs, spectacular stage sets and magical costumes and masks.
We take on new members all the time so if you want to come and see what we do you are very welcome.
As the theatre company does not hold auditions, parts are filled during the weekly workshop sessions, that also includes design and prop making.
Workshop based rehearsals run every Saturday for 5 - 14 year olds, 10.30-12.30 at The Storey CiC, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster.
